Taylors - Espresso - Cafetière

It's been a dry time in the Cambridge coffee club, for although Mr Cold has been up to his usual antics there has not been a drop of club coffee drunk for almost 2 Weeks!

So I thought I'd take the opportunity and write up one of our previous reviews. As you may expect the espresso blend from Taylors is stronger than the previously reviewed after dark blend. It has a strength that is capable of lifting the early morning fog from an entire nation yet it's balanced enough to not tear holes in your throat as you slurp it down.

It is finely ground for espresso machines, but we enjoy life on the edge so decided to brew using our glass cafetière. The risk paid off, provided you can cope with a layer of sludge at the bottom of the cup - we did.

To say it was just pleasurable would be an understatement, however it doesn't leave me bouncing off the walls with excitement either.
